AN AFFAIR OF THE HEART premieres worldwide at the Florida Film Festival tonight.

Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Sylvia Caminer and mega-fan turned executive producer Melanie Lentz-Janney bring us face-to-face with Grammy Award-winning musician, songwriter, actor, and New York Times best-selling author Rick Springfield. The music doc spotlights Springfield?s most fervent fans as passionate about him today as they were when ?Jessie?s Girl? was #1 in the early ?80s. The film has garnered a prestigious position as one of 10 competing feature documentaries in a record-breaking year for Festival entries.
?I?m proud to be a part of it,? comments Springfield. ?They went real deep, and there are some scenes that are pretty amazing? stories that I?ve never heard before. Some of these fans have been with me for 30 years, so I?m really intertwined in their lives. That?s the crux of the film.?
